Kiedrich (dpa / lhe) – A motorcyclist was seriously injured during an overtaking maneuver on a country road in the Rheingau-Taunus district. The 68-year-old hit the handlebars of a car and fell, the police said. When the driver tried to avoid the motorcyclist sliding across the street, his car hit a curb, then a crash barrier and finally came to a stop on the road. The motorcyclist was taken to the hospital. Both vehicles had to be towed away after the accident near Kiedrich.
