Wiesbaden (dpa/lhe) – The traveling exhibition “Ernst Wilhelm Nay – Retrospective” will be presented in the Museum Wiesbaden from this Friday (September 16). Ernst Wilhelm Nay (1902-1968) is one of the most important artists of the second half of the 20th century, the museum announced on Wednesday. His painting is “figurative and abstract”. After the Second World War, he lived in Hofheim for six years. According to a statement, he was supported by the Wiesbaden Museum. His works created in the Rhine-Main area were presented at the Documenta in Kassel and the Venice Biennale, among others. The traveling exhibition can be seen in Wiesbaden until February 5, 2023.
