Wiesbaden (dpa/lhe) – The new President of the Hessian State Office for the Protection of the Constitution (LfV), Bernd Neumann, is to be inaugurated on Friday (11:00 a.m.). Interior Minister Peter Beuth (CDU) invited to the appointment in the Ministry of the Interior in Wiesbaden. Neumann has been LfV Vice President since 2018. The 56-year-old will succeed Robert Schäfer, who took up the post of Chief of Police in Hesse last November.
“Bernd Neumann is an exemplary leader,” said Interior Minister Beuth when the personnel was announced. It brings employees together, creates team spirit and common goals.
