Offenbach (dpa/lhe) – The beginning of the week brings individual showers for Hesse before the sun shows up widely from Tuesday. First of all, strong thunderstorms with heavy rain and stormy gusts are possible on Monday night in the extreme south (Odenwald), as the German Weather Service (DWD) announced on Sunday in Offenbach. On Monday itself, individual showers and thunderstorms are to be expected, especially in the north. The temperatures rise up to 24 degrees and up to 17 degrees in the mountains. In addition, moderate, occasionally strong, gusty winds will blow from western directions. During the night there is no rain, at up to six degrees, in the mountains up to four degrees.
On Tuesday the sun will be widespread, only a few clouds are to be expected in the north. A weak wind is blowing and the temperatures rise up to 26 degrees. During the night cloudy and dry weather will prevail. The temperatures cool down to eleven degrees in the Rhein-Main area and up to six degrees in the North Hessian mountains. On Wednesday, people in Hesse can expect a lot of sunshine and dry weather with temperatures of up to 30 degrees.
