Wiesbaden (dpa/lhe) – The members of the Hessian state parliament want to discuss, among other things, the planned citizens’ allowance today. The federal government’s plan failed in the Bundesrat on Monday. Other topics of the plenary debate in Wiesbaden include the state’s biodiversity report 2021 and the obligation to wear masks on public buses and trains.
Also on the agenda is the draft for an amendment to the school law, which is intended to promote the expansion of all-day schools. Also on the agenda is a vote to strengthen the supervisory bodies in public service broadcasting.
The planned amendment to the Hessian Broadcasting Act (HR Act) provides for an office to be set up at the Broadcasting Council and the Administrative Board, which is to provide technical support and advice to the members of the committees in carrying out their supervisory and control functions, independently of the director.
