Bad Hersfeld (dpa/lhe) – Employees at Amazon in Bad Hersfeld stopped work on Tuesday morning. The strike will end on Friday night, said a spokeswoman for the Verdi union. About 800 strikers are expected. Verdi is demanding that Amazon recognize the collective bargaining agreement for retail and mail order and conclude a collective bargaining agreement. According to the company, the work stoppages will not affect customers. There is a strike at several locations nationwide.
