Wiesbaden (dpa/lhe) – The Hessian FDP is aiming for government participation after the upcoming state elections. State chairwoman Bettina Stark-Watzinger said in the Christmas interview on RTL-Hessen: “We free democrats want to shape things.” After the election, the FDP wants to play a role “that no coalition of the center can be formed against the Free Democrats”. The Federal Education Minister announced that she would be active in the Hessian election campaign in the summer. The Hessian FDP top candidate Stefan Naas gets her full support, she said. In Hesse, a new state parliament is expected to be elected in autumn 2023.
