Frankfurt/Main (dpa/lhe) – Reports about a sword-wielding man in a Frankfurt park led to a major police operation on Tuesday. In a playground, the alarmed police officers actually found a man who appeared to be holding a sword, a police spokesman said. However, after the officers overpowered the man, they found that he had not handled a sharp weapon, but a blunt piece of sports equipment. The 40-year-old man used it to perform Tai Chi exercises. The man, who was initially tied up, was then released.
