Frankfurt/Main (dpa/lhe) – The accident on an amusement ride in a corn maze is the subject of a trial this Friday (from 9 a.m.) before the Frankfurt district court. A 54-year-old man is accused. In August 2018 in Liederbach (Main-Taunus-Kreis) he is said to have driven a trailer with 30 visitors – adults and children – through the labyrinth with a tractor. On a downhill road he is said to have lost control of the vehicle at 22 km/h. The trailer with the 30 occupants, according to the indictment, who were not wearing their seat belts, overturned. All 30 suffered injuries. The 54-year-old is now accused of negligent bodily harm, the court initially only scheduled one day of hearing.
