Frankfurt/Main (dpa/lhe) – After an abseiling operation on Autobahn 5, three women and two men have to answer to the Frankfurt district court for coercion from today (from 9 a.m.). The activists, aged between 24 and 31, are said to have paralyzed traffic in June 2020 in protest against the clearing work in the Dannenröder Forest near the Airlift Monument at Frankfurt Airport. For the time being, the court has only scheduled one day of hearing. According to the public prosecutor’s office, the process could take longer.
