Beselich (dpa/lhe) – A drunk truck driver wanted to pick up goods from a company – and was then allowed to sleep off his intoxication in the driver’s cab. On Monday, the 29-year-old drove to a company site in Beselich in the Limburg-Weilburg district, the police said on Tuesday. Company employees called the officials. A breath alcohol test showed a value of 3.5 per thousand. The police arrested the man for a blood test and took away his truck keys. He was later able to sleep off his intoxication in the driver’s cab of the truck. But he didn’t get the keys back.
