Hasselroth (dpa/lhe) – An unknown person attacked a gas station in Hasselroth (Main-Kinzig district) with a gun and threatened a 31-year-old employee. He demanded cash from the employee at gunpoint late Monday evening, the police said on Tuesday morning. He then fled on foot with the loot worth several hundred euros. The gas station employee was not injured.
The perpetrator is said to be between 20 and 30 years old and have curly black hair. At the time of the crime, he was wearing dark clothing and a cap and had covered his face. He is said to have transported the money in a black backpack. The police are looking for witnesses.
