Otzberg (dpa / lhe) – A wheel loader caught fire on the premises of a sawmill in Otzberg (Darmstadt-Dieburg district). The fire therefore spread to wood that was stored nearby; however, the sawmill building was not damaged. Employees tried to extinguish the fire. One man sustained minor smoke gas injuries and was taken to the hospital. The police said it was not yet clear why the construction machine caught fire on Saturday afternoon. The damage is estimated at several thousand euros.
