The city council made the last decision to shut off all public lighting in the middle of the village at night between midnight and 5 a.m. It was already extinguished in many other areas of the village for two years. This is in response to a request by the government and top leaders of major energy companies. It will reduce electricity consumption by up to 40% and light pollution that disturbs birds and other nocturnal insects. Parc des Baronnies is pushing for this goal with the hope of obtaining the national label starry sky. This requires an area of 700km2 where night extinction is practised. We are at 626km2. Trescleoux’s territory will be added. An indicator sign will be placed at each village entrance.

You should note that these times can be modified at any time if there are festivities. Please contact the town hall for more information.
