3. Pass a soft kitchen sponge (or a soft brush) moistened with hot water through the inside of the appliance. Depending on the model, if access to the resistance is difficult, the fryer can be turned upside down to facilitate the task.

4. Clean the exterior of the fryer with a damp cloth. To improve the result: kitchen paper or a dry cloth to dry the machine.

5. The next step is to gently scrub the items removed from the appliance that were soaking one by one. It is recommended to use lukewarm water and a little bit of dish soap for the plastic components with the help of the soft side of a kitchen sponge, taking special care with the non-stick parts.

On the contrary, it is not recommended to use aluminum foil as it is a heat conducting material that can affect the performance and safety of the machine.

No bleach or abrasive detergents, since they can damage the materials. Neither should metal brushes or sponges be used.
