Today, Wednesday April 26, the Catholic Church honors San Anacleto or San Cleto.
Probably of Athenian origin, San Cleto, diminutive of Anacleto, is the third Pope in history.
According to the Vatican website, he is the author of the meditation on Peter’s tomb, in the Vatican, near which he himself will be buried. During his pontificate the Colosseum in Rome is inaugurated.
