This week have appeared hundreds of kicking crabs on the shore of the beach of OS BOOTS, in the parish of Meirás, belonging to the municipality of Vadoviño (A Coruña).
There were several citizens who alerted the authorities of what happened.
Faced with this situation, officials of the servo of Gardacostas de la Xunta were moved to the place, which took some of the specimens to the Sea Desellery with the aim of knowing the causes of this massive death.
The kicking crabs are usual of the coasts and the Galician sandlines and it is usual to see them especially at the end of the summer.
They usually appear by the trawls made by the tides, in addition to carrying out great migrations related to changes in water temperature and reproductive cycles.
