In April, Michelle Hunziker becomes a grandmother for the first time – at just 46 years old. But that’s not a problem for the presenter, on the contrary. She’s really looking forward to her grandson, whom she even wants to take to the gym with her.
Michelle Hunziker can’t wait to become a grandmother. “I’m proud to be such a young grandmother, because then I can romp around with my grandson. I take him skiing, to do sports. I still have so much energy,” said the 46-year-old Swiss woman in an interview the Italian daily newspaper “Corriere della Sera”.
Their 26-year-old daughter Aurora, their child with singer Eros Ramazzotti, will give birth to a son in April. She officially confirmed this in September 2022. The child’s father is her longtime friend Goffredo Cerza. Already on her pregnant daughter’s birthday in December, Michelle Hunziker wrote about a joint photo on Instagram: “You too will grow with your son, as I will with you … it’s beautiful. You will celebrate your 26th birthday with two hearts that beat in you. I love you endlessly.”
Now the presenter also says in an interview: “It’s strange when I think of the child that’s on the way, I’m only 19 years older than Auri myself. I experience her pregnancy with incredible intensity. It’s like a fourth Maternity. I’ve got two little daughters. I’m going to have a house full of kids.”
Hunziker married Italian fashion entrepreneur Tomaso Trussardi in 2014, with whom she has nine and seven-year-old girls Sole and Celeste. In January 2022, both announced their separation. “I’m single and happy with it,” she explained of her current relationship status.
