When it came to her sex life, Jane Fonda has never been shy. The US actress also has no problem talking about intimacy in old age. However, she no longer feels a great desire for it.

Jane Fonda rarely minces her words, even when it comes to sex. And so the US actress and activist is once again reflecting on how her approach to intimacy has changed over the years. During an appearance on SiriusXM’s Andy Cohen Live radio show, the actress shared what her sex life consisted of at 84 and why it “got better” with age.

When asked by Andy Cohen how she would characterize her current sex life, Fonda didn’t go into detail, just calling it “private” and “solo.” From the moderator’s follow-up question, the “Grace

“Oh, that’s a wonderful question to think about,” Fonda replied, adding, “I think I’ve gotten better.” In her opinion, older women have better sex “because they lose their fear of saying what they need.” As a woman, you waste far too much time in life not wanting to say, “Wait a minute, hold on, hold on, hold on, no, no, no. Slow down. And a little to the left.” The 84-year-old continued, “But when we get older, it’s like, ‘No, I know what I want. Give me what I want!'”

Jane Fonda has spoken about her sex life in the past – but most recently about not feeling any more desire for intimacy. In 2020, when she was asked on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” if she still had “crazy sex”, she answered unequivocally: “No, zero. I’m old and I’ve had so much of it. I don’t need it right now, because I’m too busy.”

Last year, she reiterated what she told Harper’s Bazaar magazine: “I don’t have that desire anymore. Am I fantasizing? Yes…that I’ll meet a professor or a researcher – someone who’s really capable of doing a to love and appreciate women.” According to Fonda, this dream professor would have to meet a special criterion: He would have to be significantly younger than the actress herself, because a man of the same age is no longer an option for her. “Isn’t that terrible?” Accordingly, she is particularly concerned with the skin. “I would want a younger man and I’m too vain.”
