I am a Lassalle and ask for my brother! Julien was running in the 4th constituency of Pyrenees-Atlantiques, for these legislative elections. He received 20.27% of all votes, but was not qualified for the second round. He was third behind Annick Trounday, the presidential majority candidate (26.65%), and Inaki Echaniz, the Nupes candidate (24.07%).
Jean Lassalle (Resist!) is his big brother. This is Jean Lassalle (Resist!), the constituency’s outgoing MP. He was elected in 2017 with 52.79%.
Jean Lassalle announced at the beginning May that he would not run for a mandate. This was mainly because of health reasons. He had received 3.13% of votes in the presidential election. His constituency saw him in the lead with 20, 77%. The second round of presidential elections saw his failed coup, which led to the annulment of the ballot in Lourdios Ichere. This decision made him “enter a type of political maquis”.
Julien Lassalle (shepherd and cheesemaker) was the head of the list until now under the banner Mouvement de la ruralite.
However, his brother made the Tour of France of Resistons! candidates, starting with the 4th district of Pyrenees-Atlantiques.
