The information, in particular the personal and professional journeys of Louis Boyard, with the precision of the timetables, was published on Telegram loops linked to the ultra-right, according to the daily Le Parisien. Letters of death threats were sent to the home of the deputy and to his office in the National Assembly

The investigation, opened on February 11, was entrusted to the cybercrime brigade (BL2C) of the Paris judicial police.

Increased police surveillance

Police patrols have been put in place, as well as increased surveillance around the home of the LFI deputy for Val-de-Marne due to the “various threats received” recently by the elected official. This surveillance is part of the “particular context of the pension reform” and a request from the Minister of the Interior, Gérald Darmanin, for “more comprehensive enhanced protection for elected officials”, according to a source familiar with the matter. .
