After being shot in the head, a young biker was killed on the road connecting Pornichet and Saint-Nazaire (Loire-Atlantique).

The young man was born in 2000. His body was found under a motorcycle that had been burned and proved stolen. This was confirmed by Rennes Philippe Astruc via email.

The Saint-Nazaire Prosecutor’s Office has opened an investigation into the cause of death. According to the autopsy, the victim was struck by a projectile in his head that caused his death. He also stated that it was a bullet. However, the circumstances surrounding the victim’s death are not clear.

An investigation was opened into “murder in a organized gang, arrest and kidnapping or arbitrarily detention, followed death in an organised gang”. On Thursday, the Jirs (Specialized International Jurisdiction) of Rennes was taken into custody of the case due to “the complexity and the facts”.

An appeal for witnesses was made. Investigators are seeking witnesses to any accident or other unusual event that may have occurred on the D392 road connecting Pornichet and Saint-Nazaire. More specifically, at the level of interchange with D213 road giving entry to the Zac de Brais. It would have taken place on Sunday between 6:30 p.m. & 11 p.m.
