Adele has just completed the fifth weekend of her Vegas guest performance, which will last until the end of March, when she should already be planning the next coup. As British media reports, the 34-year-old not only wants to bring her own lingerie onto the market, but also design jewellery, perfume and clothes.
British singer Adele reportedly wants to start her own lingerie brand. At least that’s what the tabloid “The Sun” wants to know. The musician is also said to be planning to launch jewelry, perfume and clothing.
A company believed to belong to the 34-year-old has applied to use the name “1, 2, Free” as a trademark for goods in the United States, according to the report. Approval is said to have already been granted in Great Britain. According to “The Sun”, in addition to underwear, the application also mentions watches, headgear and bags, among other things.”
A music industry source told the paper: “This venture could see her selling a wide range of items – particularly in the lucrative American market where she’s hot.” The insider is quoted as saying: “This shows that Adele is not only a great singer-songwriter, but also a savvy businesswoman.”
Just about a month ago, Adele gave her first concert at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. The singer will be performing there as part of the “Weekends with Adele” shows until March 25, 2023. In tears earlier this year, she canceled her scheduled Las Vegas shows in an Instagram video just 24 hours before they were due to start. The British woman then experienced a strong backlash on social media. In the meantime, however, she is celebrated by the audience at her performances in Las Vegas.
The fifth weekend is currently behind her, as she announces on Instagram. Fans had to dig deep into their pockets for the concerts. According to media reports, the unbelievable sum of 38,716 British pounds was due for seats in the first row of the opening concert. That’s the equivalent of more than 45,000 euros.
