A 25-year-old Easton man arrested Friday morning in a drug raid on South Side will be charged with delivering crack cocaine, city police said.
The police department Vice Unit investigated for two weeks and made at least one controlled buy from the home where Derrick Cribb was staying at 216 E. Bird St. in the Neston Heights neighborhood, Lt. Matthew Gerould said.

Cribb will be arraigned later in the day and a car that was parked in the driveway will be searched after a warrant is received, Gerould said.
The lease-holder, who is an acquaintance of Cribb, was not charged, according to Gerould. That person’s three children were home when police entered, Gerould said.
It remains under investigation if drugs were recovered in the home and no weapons were found, Gerould said.
Cribb was the target of the raid, which was launched just after 6 a.m. by the police Special Response and Vice units, Gerould said.
The neighborhood, where the Delaware Terrace housing project once stood, was rebuilt with millions in federal dollars with hopes of keeping out the drugs and violence that haunted its previous incarnation.
There now have been two drug raids there in recent months.
