Police detained a man in connection with a stabbing Friday afternoon that sent the victim to Albany Medical Center Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, Sgt. Matthew Dearing, a city police spokesman, said.
He said the male victim was stabbed around Albany and Swan streets in the Vale neighborhood after an apparent dispute.
As of late Friday afternoon, the man in custody had not been charged with the crime, Dearing said.
