A man remained in critical condition Saturday afternoon following a Saturday morning shooting in North Braddock, according to allegheny County police.
Police responded to Dunbar Street shortly before 8 a.m. for a report of a shooting, said Lt. Andrew Schurman.
A 56-year-old man was taken to the hospital with multiple gunshot wounds, Schurman said. He was listed in critical condition.
Schurman said it appeared the man was shot in his vehicle, which was parked on the street, and two black males were seen running from the area.
He said the victim might have been a jitney driver and he was being robbed when he was shot.
Police ask anyone who heard or saw anything regarding the shooting to contact homicide detectives at 412-473-1300.
