Marine Le Pen believes that Emmanuel Macron bought his election thanks to the Covid-19 outbreak. “Emmanuel Macron bought his electoral election at any cost and today he said, “Now that I am elected, we are going to cut the water’,” judged the presidential finalist.
Gabriel Attal, Minister Delegate to Public Accounts, made the following statement in “Le Parisien”, Saturday, April 12th: “We have gone beyond what it costs to how it costs.” She said that Mr. Attal was there to make the French accept the measures to stop the loss of purchasing power.
When asked about the topic, Pas-de-Calais’ RN deputy mentioned the 18-cent pump rebate. She then suggested “structural measures”. It wants to fund it with a super-profits tax by imposing a 0% VAT on a 100-basket of basic necessities or a reduction in VAT from 20 to 5.5% on “fuel, heating oils, and electricity”.
She indicated that “we have submitted an amendment to the Finance Committee on the subject”, while deputies will review this week in different committees the bill regarding the purchasing power, prior to its passage in the hemicycle on 18 July.
Marine Le Pen stated that RN deputies would vote for further tax exemptions for overtime. The Minister of Economy was also open to this measure.
Marine Le Pen also discussed the remarks made recently by Gerald Darmanin. Far-right leader Marine Le Pen said that she supports Interior Minister’s proposal of expulsion “any foreigner who has committed serious acts”. “If he wishes to expel foreigners who are guilty of crimes or misdemeanors it’s 100 percent yes.”
Gerald Darmanin, in an interview with “Le Monde”, said that he would “allow the expulsion [of any foreigner] found guilty by the courts of a serious offense, regardless of their presence on national territory.” The law today prohibits foreigners from entering the territory after the age 13 and a minister would like to ignore this provision.
Gerald Darmanin stated that he was open to discussing the future orientation of the Ministry of the Interior’s programming law (Lopmi), “with the LRs. The centrists. and even part of the right”, but excluding the National Rally, La France Insoumise and La France Rally, which he called “enemies” on the RMC / BFMTV set. He said that he respected them as parliamentarians, but we don’t need to discuss or negotiate with the RN and La France Insoumise.
Marine Le Pen reacted on Sunday, saying that “This takes Mr. Darmanin from the commonly accepted rules for the Republic.” She continued, “The RN deputies didn’t fall from the sky. They were elected by millions” “The Republic was founded on respect for democracy.
