Rostock (dpa/mv) – FC Hansa Rostock is entering women’s and girls’ football for the new season. “The goal is the gradual development of women’s and girls’ football in the club and thus the establishment in grassroots sport,” said the second division club on Friday. For the coming season, a women’s team is to enter the Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania Association League, the top division in the state. According to Hansa, the state football association MV has already agreed. In the offspring, the age group D-Juniors will be established first (born in 2011 and 2012). Next Wednesday (9.30 a.m.) the club invites you to the first of several trial sessions.
