Schwerin (dpa/mv) – The tourism association Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania presented a new brand and communication strategy on Wednesday. Under the motto “Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. The holiday country”, the natural strengths of the country are to be used with a new strategy, as the tourism association announced on Wednesday in Schwerin. Part of the realignment is therefore also the revision of the associated websites and platforms.
In addition, the tourism association will have a new deputy managing director on November 1st, who will also take over the management of tourism issues. Beate Kassner is moving from Zillertal Tourismus GmbH in Tyrol to the 55-strong team in the north-east. “She brings a lot of experience, motivation and energy and will help to further develop tourism in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania and keep it sustainable,” said Tobias Woitendorf, Managing Director of the Association.
