Zinnowitz (dpa / mv) – The police in Zinnowitz arrested a 39-year-old driver with 3.11 per thousand alcohol in the blood. The heavily intoxicated man fell asleep at a red traffic light on Wednesday evening, as the police inspection in Anklam announced on Thursday. Rescue workers who were called blocked the onward journey and took the man to the hospital in Wolgast. According to the information, blood was taken here and the driver’s license was secured. The man now has to face criminal proceedings for drunk driving, according to the police.
