Schwerin (dpa/mv) – A 73-year-old driver fell into a ditch in Schwerin and sustained injuries. The driver maneuvered in the parking lot of a supermarket in the Friedrichsthal district on Tuesday morning and confused the gas and brake pedals, the police said. She reportedly lost control of the car, which then crashed into the adjacent ditch. The 73-year-old was taken to hospital with injuries. Other people were not injured, according to police.
