Rostock (dpa/mv) – According to a survey, passengers are more satisfied with no other transport company in Germany than with the Rostocker Strassenbahn AG (RSAG). In the “ÖPNV-kundenbarometer 2022” conducted by the opinion research institute Kantar, RSAG together with the Dresdner Verkehrsbetriebe (DVB) recorded the highest value for overall satisfaction. After third place last year, this is a special recognition for the RSAG employees, RSAG board member Jan Bleis was quoted as saying by the city on Friday.
For the survey, Kantar said it surveyed more than 21,000 public transport users between June and August 2022 – i.e. the time when the cheap 9-euro ticket was valid. A total of 42 local transport providers took part.
According to the city, RSAG performed very well in terms of customer relationships and transport services. The respondents were more critical of passenger information in the event of disruptions or delays and the fare system. According to the information provided, RSAG and DVB achieved a value of 2.29 for overall satisfaction on a scale from 1 (completely satisfied) to 5 (dissatisfied).
