Neubrandenburg (dpa/mv) – Guests of the Neubrandenburg art collection can now experience the unusually creative variety of paper, glass, fabric and other reusable materials. Entitled “Blue Fields Above Red Clouds”, the first exhibition of the year shows works by Ramona Seyfarth. The 42-year-old from Neubrandenburg is a trained glass maker and studied at the Koblenz University of Applied Sciences.
The art collection shows around 60 works intended to cover the spectrum of Seyfarth’s work. These include small and large format paintings, works on paper and installations of various sizes. “Rarely does an artist succeed as well as Ramona Seyfarth from Neubrandenburg in repeatedly surprising the public with her often experimental works,” explained the director of the art collection, Merete Cobarg, on Wednesday.
Seyfarth has already won several prizes, such as the Rostock Art Prize for free graphics and the first upcycling art prize, which was awarded in Lübz in 2022. The exhibition can be seen until April 30th.
