Brenz (dpa / mv) – The police in West Mecklenburg caught a suspected burglar after a chase. As a police spokeswoman said on Monday, the men were noticed during a break-in into a residential building in Brenz near Neustadt-Glewe (Ludwigslust-Parchim) on Monday night. The surprised perpetrators fled in an escape car via the federal highway 191 to the Autobahn 24. This car was stopped a little later by officials on the A24 Berlin-Hamburg. A suspect was arrested. A second occupant was able to escape. It is not yet clear whether there were other perpetrators. Nothing is known about a possible amount of damage.
