Neubrandenburg (dpa/mv) – Discus thrower Claudine Vita is allowed to fight for a medal at the home European Championships for track and field athletes in Munich (15th to 21st August). The 25-year-old from SC Neubrandenburg was called up to the squad of the German Athletics Association (DLV) on Friday. Only two weeks ago, Claudine Vita had impressed with her fifth place at the World Championships in Eugene (USA).
