Sassnitz (dpa/mv) – An e-bike rider collided with a lantern on a bike path in Sassnitz and was critically injured. For reasons that have not yet been clarified, the 32-year-old cyclist lost control of his bike on Monday evening, fell and hit a lantern on the right, as the police announced on Tuesday night. He was fatally injured in the process. A rescue helicopter took the man to a hospital.
