Stolpe (dpa / mv) – At a rest area on the A24 near Stolpe (Ludwigslust-Parchim district), eight men, who were probably smuggled, were discovered in a sealed truck. The driver of the semitrailer from Turkey informed the police when he found on the way to Hamburg that something was wrong with his truck, the federal police said on Wednesday evening. At the Stolpe rest area, the state police finally opened the sealed truck and discovered the people on the loading area.
According to initial findings, one youth was among the eight men. According to the information, they have been medically examined and were unharmed. The federal police initially did not provide any further information.
