Bützow (dpa/mv) – Out of anger at family members, a man in Bützow (Rostock district) wanted to file a criminal complaint with the police – and got himself into trouble as a result. As a police spokesman said on Tuesday, the officers in the station immediately noticed the smell of alcohol in the 41-year-old Bützower, who had driven up in his car. They let the man blow into a tube: the test revealed more than one per mille of breath alcohol. So the man from Bützow had to hand in his car keys and walk home through the small town. His original concern – the criminal complaint – had meanwhile vanished into thin air: “The family dispute was not worthy of reporting,” said an official.
