Bentwisch (dpa/mv) – A motorcyclist was seriously injured in a traffic accident on the L182 near the village of Bentwisch (Rostock district). During an unsuccessful overtaking attempt, the 45-year-old collided with a car because the 38-year-old driver had also attempted to overtake. As the police headquarters in Rostock announced on Wednesday, the motorcyclist was thrown into a field and seriously injured. An ambulance took the man to a Rostock hospital. According to the police, the exact course of the accident is now being investigated by an expert. The property damage was estimated at around 10,000 euros.
