Grabow (dpa / mv) – A Schweriner went into the forest in West Mecklenburg to collect mushrooms – but chose a bad parking space for his car. As a police spokesman said on Tuesday, the collector’s car was on the hard shoulder of Autobahn 14 south of Schwerin near Grabow on Monday.
A police patrol noticed the car, which was not secured with a warning triangle. All attempts to call the collector failed. The officials then arranged for the car to be towed “to avert danger”. When the towing service came, the 41-year-old mushroom picker also appeared.
Now the man does not have to pay for the towing, but according to the police, a fine of 70 euros and a point in the register of traffic offenders in Flensburg will be due. The only consolation: the man had collected several bags full of mushrooms, which he was allowed to keep.
