More than 100 people are to be housed in a container accommodation near the police, District Administrator Tino Schomann (CDU) informed the citizens of Gadebusch on Wednesday evening. According to the district, an exact date for the implementation is not yet known. The NDR had previously reported. According to the police, around 140 people met in the fire brigade in Gadebusch on Wednesday for a town meeting.

According to eyewitnesses, around 250 people demonstrated in front of the building. The mood on site was excited. Representatives of the right-wing spectrum were also among the demonstrators.
