Domsühl (dpa / mv) – There was a fire on the premises of a recycling plant in Domsühl (Ludwigslust-Parchim) near Parchim. As a police spokesman said on Tuesday, shredded plastic that was stored outdoors caught fire on Monday evening. Among other things, it is said to have been the remains of PET bottles. Several fire brigades in the region were able to extinguish the flames in the evening and prevent them from spreading to buildings or machines. The cause of fire was unclear for the moment. So far there is no evidence of arson. The property damage was estimated at 20,000 euros, nobody was injured.
