Schwerin (dpa/mv) – According to the police, around 1,200 people protested against the consequences of the energy crisis and high inflation in Schwerin on Monday evening despite the bad weather. This was announced by a police spokesman in the evening when asked by the dpa. As in the previous week, the statements and posters were directed primarily against the policy of the federal government, with which it is trying to overcome the energy crisis triggered by the Russian war of aggression. Among other things, participants called for the sanctions against Russia to be lifted and the Nord Stream 2 pipeline to be put into operation.
