Schwerin (dpa/mv) – The volleyball players of SSC Palmberg Schwerin will also play at European level in the coming season. As the Bundesliga club from Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania announced on Friday, coach Felix Koslowski’s team will once again compete in the CEV Cup. Last season, the women from Schwerin failed in the quarter-finals at league rivals MTV Allianz Stuttgart due to numerous corona cases. In the league, the SSC was also eliminated in the semi-finals against the Swabians.
The draw for the first round of the CEV Cup will take place on June 28th in Luxembourg. The first leg of the second highest European competition after the Champions League is then scheduled for November 22nd.
