Schwerin (dpa / mv) – With lows of up to minus six degrees, it will be cold and wet in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania over the weekend. The German Weather Service (DWD) announced that in many places there could be permafrost on Saturday due to maximum temperatures of around zero degrees. Snow showers are expected again and again on the coast and inland from Sunday night. There can be more than ten centimeters of fresh snow locally and there is a risk of black ice in some areas.
