Potsdam/Roggentin (dpa/mv) – The start-up Smart Gray Technologies from Roggentin near Rostock was awarded the entrepreneurial prize for Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania by the East German Savings Banks Association (OSV) on Thursday. The company announced that it had received the honor for its new electric heating system.
The surface heating consists of heating panels that can be installed on the wall or ceiling of a room and controlled via mobile phone. The carrier plates are printed at the Schwerin production site with a thin, patent-pending heating layer. The heating panels could also be applied to unplastered walls and then painted, wallpapered or tiled. The heating system is powered by low voltage.
The East German Savings Banks Association awards its entrepreneur prizes annually for each of the East German federal states.
