Tützpatz (dpa/mv) – A driver died in an accident in Tützpatz (Mecklenburg Lake District). As a police spokeswoman said, according to initial findings, the 39-year-old man left the state road 27 on Wednesday morning and drove the car into a tree. He was fatally injured in the process. The exact cause of the accident is still unclear. No other vehicles are believed to have been involved in the accident. The road to Altentreptow, which is considered the accident center because of a number of curves and many trees, was closed for several hours for salvage.
