Gallin (dpa/mv) – Unknown persons broke open two excavators in Gallin (Ludwigslust-Parchim) at the weekend and removed and stole on-board computers from the driver’s cab. As a police spokesman said, the damage was estimated at around 50,000 euros. The two construction vehicles were parked on a construction site in an industrial area on the Autobahn 24 Berlin-Hamburg. The exact time of the crime is unclear. Workers probably only noticed the damage when they started work on Monday and reported it.
