Wrangelsburg (dpa / mv) – Thieves have again made loot in a solar park in Western Pomerania. The strangers penetrated the fence on the site of a larger solar park near Wrangelsburg (Western Pomerania-Greifswald) on Monday night, as a police spokeswoman said on Tuesday. Several so-called inverters worth around 30,000 euros were stolen there. According to the security service, the theft happened shortly after midnight within a quarter of an hour.

Thieves only stole about 60 solar modules from another solar park not far from Gültz in Western Pomerania (Mecklenburg Lake District) on Sunday night. The damage was estimated at around 12,000 euros. In both cases, the police are hoping for information from witnesses and are also examining a connection between the thefts.
