Lalendorf (dpa / mv) – The driver of a van was thrown out of his vehicle in an accident in Lalendorf-Tolzin (Rostock district) and was seriously injured. The 48-year-old drove his car off the road late on Friday evening and drove through a ditch until the front of the vehicle crashed into a wall. The van then overturned and came to a stop on adjacent private property. The force of the impact ejected the driver from the car. He was later taken to the hospital by ambulance. A blood sample was taken from him on suspicion of drunk driving.
